Position Summary: Document in real time assessment of the patient as provided by the physician/patient interaction. Also, provide medical assistance to the patient and physician as needed.

Essential Functions:

Provide scribe services: (The position will be mainly scribing)

  • Chart in real-time as the provider assesses and examines the patient
  • Document the history, physical exam, assessment and plan, results, procedures, treatment, and physician consultations
  • Record provider-dictated diagnoses, prescriptions and information


Perform MA duties: (As needed)

  • Greet patients and prepare them for physical examination
  • Screens patients for appropriate information
  • Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests
  • Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments


Level of Supervision Required: Works under the direction of the physician and practice manager


Contacts: Contacts, within or outside the Company, as a Company representative in a specialized area of knowledge or technical field. Requires considerable tact and discretion, and some persuasion to obtain approvals, consent and action.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education/Knowledge: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.


Education Discipline: HSD and Bachelor's degree preferred


Experience: 3-5 years (preferred, not required)

Work Hours

  • Full-time position Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (or when clinic ends)
